Climate Sense’s CaDD metrics are often considered, by specialists in other sectors, to be relevant to their experience, not just that of climate change. Collaboration with corporate human rights specialists Twentyfifty and the Global Compact Network in Germany has developed the CaDD metric to create a framework for analysing organisational capacity to address human rights, called the Organisational Capacity Assessment Instrument (OCAI).
Climate Sense and Twentyfifty are currently collaborating to take human rights metrics further. The growing link between climate change and human rights challenges resulting from today’s decisions is leading to greater collaboration between Climate Sense and Twentyfify , on behalf of their clients.
Numerous multi-national businesses, mainly signatories to the UN Global Compact, have reviewed their capacity to manage their human rights impacts and used the OCAI framework to identify and take the most effective next steps to manage those impacts.
